Competitions were held in the gymnasium boarding house "Pine Forest" Zasyadko mine.
86 sambo veterans from Donetsk, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi regions and the city of Kiev took part in the competition. Among them was the chairman of the Donetsk regional federation of sambo NSFU, the director of the department of ecology and natural resources of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergey Natrus.
At the opening ceremony of the tournament, the deputy chairman of the DonNAG Viktor Remski and deputy head of the department for physical culture and sports of the State Administration Natalia Tochilova wished the fighters good health, achievements in everything, peace and harmony.
And then the competitions began, where the veterans were not inferior to the youth in excitement. Sambo wrestlers performed in different age categories: from 35-39 to 65+.
In the team event the team of Donetsk region took first place. The second place was taken by representatives of the Kharkov region, the third by Sumskaya.
